This week has been all about sports!
The children have been looking at different sports, the equipment used, and the various achievements of famous athletes. Football, Basketball, Swimming, Boxing, Hockey, and Tennis were amongst the sports the children had the opportunity to learn about. Role play games were also very important this week, with the children using actions to charade the different sports in a pretend scenario.
The children also played mini versions of popular sports by creating mini version of equipment using the materials they could find around the class. Mini golf, mini football, mini hockey, and some other games were created and played with emphasis being placed on sharing, helping, and having fun!
