This week’s topic has had the groups exploring Family members. Children were introduced to the topic with their teacher’s family tree, providing a real life and relatable example for the children, and the children were encouraged to follow suit. Role-play was a fun way to get the children into the mindset of their family members, and they would interact with one another in character.
Some great art work was also completed. Some family trees, a few unrelated crafts, and some interesting plasticine families!
This week also culminated in “Fairytale Day”. The children spoke about their favourite stories, explained the plot, and attempted to act out some of their favourite parts. The groups were also treated to a show, put on by the very talented ladies of Cambridge Kids!
