Topic of the Week!
Jobs and Occupations
This week has been all about work. The children were introduced to a variety of possible jobs, but mainly focussing on Community Helpers.
Role play was central to this theme, with the children pretending to have careers and acting out what they would do on a daily basis.
Cut and paste job worksheets also helped the groups to learn the vocabulary, as well as work on their fine motor skills
Teacher’s Notes
The weather has changed drastically, and we would like to request that the children be adequately prepared. This means Hat, Scarf, Gloves, Snow Pants, and other warm items of clothing for the cold weather.
Children should spend time outdoors, whatever the weather, and it is unfair on them if they are not clothed appropriately as they would have to spend time indoors while classmates are enjoying outdoor activities.
